Note: I will still buy models from ToucanHobby shop, even though I cannot recommend this specific model.
Buyer from Czech Republic. This is my third model from TH.
This model is unfortunately - a big pain and frustration - for me, and I didn't enjoy it yet as I hoped.
Order, delivery, packing:
- Order was easy to made, the price was final, including shipping, taxes.
- Dozer was ordered 7.5.2025, shipped 18.6.2025 (after a month of manufacturing), delivered on 4.7.2025
- Unfortunately, model was delivered (by UPS) heavily damaged, wooden box was broken (had "THIS-SIDE-UP" signs), it was packed in carton box (without "THIS-SIDE-UP" signs).
- It was not well packed, no foam to prevent movement in case of the box is flipped.
- I was missing operation/maintenance manual with some basic information.
- Issues:
1) broken hydraulic nozzle, so hydraulic of blade tilting didnt work
2) loose speakers (fell off)
3) all lights on the protective structure damaged
4) both exhaust pipes broken
5) fire extinguisher broken
6) damaged box for Paladin
7) hydraulic hose a bit snapped in some places
8) huge amount of paint scratches
9) left tracks was a bit looser than right tracks
10) right tracks keept rolling by default, when battery connected
11) ladder could not be folded - it was not tested before shipping
12) Missing extra battery that I ordered
13) Loose parts in blade system
14) replaced fire extinguisher was in different red color
15) the whole left track is tilted (metal is bended somewhere)
Until now - 1.10.2025 - not all issues are solved. And some are not solvebal - e.g. bended track.
Repairs required soldering kit, and other tools, so in the end, it was not RTR. And for someone not having those tools, it can be hard.
Customer service:
- Trying to be helpful as possible - all replacement parts were sent. They are getting info from manufacturer.
- On the other hand, in some cases, I am not able to get answers, after I asked three times how and where to put smoke oil - and still didn't get answer I had to contact another colleage from TH to get this info.
- Model was also not fully tested before shipping (issue 11).
Model / Manufacturer:
- Model has manufacturer specific parts (e.g. hydraulic nozzle, so you cant use LESU for repairs)
- Some disassemble videos from the manufacturer are not helpful at all.
- It seems to me, that model was made in hurry - bad color spots, still masking tape on the blade
- Some part are not precise - 3D printed parts below protective structure are not align
Additional info:
- Used oil: Dynamax Hydraulic oil OTHP 32 VG32, 1l
- Oil in tank: about half of the tank - there is transparent tube
- Smoke oil: 2-3 ml (SP-01021, EAN 4250229601250)
- Highly recommended is to have LiPo alarm for battery.

2) MTM Loader E260L (Volvo L260H)
3) BSM D11T (Caterpillar)
Other than the rippers are flat faced and the exhaust pipes are plastic instead of metal it looks and operates great. The only downside to it is it doesn’t come with owners/ operators manual
Howdy All, I recently received a D11T, I bought it from Toucan Hobby, Lucas, was the man I dealt with. This thing is MASSIVE and well built, where we live the weather this time of year is awful so I have only used it for about an hour but I am impressed with what it will do. There was a small part, the driver ladder that was damaged in shipping, I contacted Lucas, and within 10 days I received new replacement parts at no charge. EXCELLENT after sales service, I am very happy with this product and the support it has been given. Dave
